Fire
You can discern that voice a million miles away.
“You’re crazy.”
“It’s your fault.”
“You should be ashamed of yourself.”
“You have no right to say what you said.”
“You aren’t a good Christian.”
“I know something you don’t know, but I won’t tell you because you aren’t safe.”
Mind games.
Stonewalling.
Gaslighting.
You can see the dark tail under the sheep’s clothing.
You are no longer a victim, but you will stand with the victims.
You know who you are.
You are not who you used to be.
You’re healing.
A warrior has replaced the coward.
You are no longer afraid of the fire inside you.
